Reload last model

Option available to reload automatically last model used when opening GiD. This option can be activated in the preferences window. Just go from the top menu to Utilities->Preferences, select the  General->Other branch and check the Reload last model option.  

How to select entities with filters

Anytime user is making a selection inside GiD (geometry or mesh entities), the selection window can be used to apply useful filters to the selection. This option can be activated in preprocess mode selecting the menu Utilities->Tools->Selection window. It can also be activated from the contextual menu, clicking with the right mouse button.   

Rotate, Pan, Zoom With Mouse

Rotate, pan and zoom are accessible directly from mouse buttons, pressing shift key. User can access to rotate, pan and zoom view options directly using mouse buttons, while the shift key is pressed: shift + left mouse button -> ROTATE shift + wheel/center mouse button -> ZOOM shift + right button -> PAN
