Official versions of GiD are stable versions of the program. They don’t include the newest capabilities but they have passed all the validation tests. Download here the Portable (.tar.xz) version.
GiD for Scientific Linux 7.x, RedHat 7.x or other Linux distributions with kernel 3.10 ( uname -r ) please check this page.
