GiD Team presents GiD 18, the new official version of its universal pre- and post-processing software for numerical simulations, which will be launched on July 1st.
For more than 25 years, GiD has supported research centres, universities and companies worldwide, offering a flexible environment for geometrical modelling, mesh generation, data definition, solver integration and advanced visualization of simulation results.
This new version introduces important advances in mesh generation, advanced visualisation techniques, and results visualisation features, as well as significant improvements in efficiency and performance. GiD 18 also incorporates new and enhanced tools to facilitate the connection of any type of solver to the program, reinforcing its role as an adaptable platform for numerical simulation workflows in science and engineering. The main new features of GiD 18 will be presented on July 1st in a hybrid session that can be attended in person at CIMNE or followed online. The presentation will also include the latest developments in the GiD Simulation Cloud environment, the cloud services associated with GiD, including improvements to the GiD Visualizator and the Model Manager.
